The Knowsys PSAT National merit potentials curriculum

The Knowsys PSAT curriculum is completely up-to-date and pairs with the 2019-2020 SAT Official Guide. You're going to love it.

Focus of the PSAT National Merit Potentials Course:

The Knowsys PSAT-SAT National Merit Potentials Course is specifically designed for students with a high 10th grade PSAT score. The goal is to help those top-level students achieve National Merit Commended and higher levels of recognition on the PSAT and maximize their SAT score. Districts that emphasize the ACT can add the ACT into the National Merit course to make our “Total Prep” course that includes PSAT, SAT, and ACT for your highest-potential students.

Knowsys PSAT Prep Pedagogy, Strategies, and Methods:

The Knowsys National Merit Potentials Course is designed to enable high-scoring students to maximize their scores. The course focuses on the concepts frequently missed by high-scoring students and the questions that the College Board designates as Medium and Hard (on an Easy-Medium-Hard scale). The Knowsys course is efficient because we design the course based on our 22 years of experience working with top-scoring students. Students find themselves challenged and propelled to the next level in Math, Critical Reading, Grammar, and SAT vocabulary. Following the PSAT in October of the students’ Junior year, the course switches gears to focus on the SAT: scoring, timing, and the essay. The goal is to keep the momentum rolling and enable students to maximize their SAT scores as well. An ACT component can be added at the end for districts that emphasize the ACT exam.

The Full PSAT Course:

The most complete SAT Prep option, the SAT Course is 40+ hours long and integrates the use of the Knowsys SAT Workbook, The Official SAT Study Guide, and the College Board Khan Academy Online SAT Prep materials. Students take 2 diagnostic exams, one at the beginning and one toward the end, to gauge progress. Students receive Personalized Score Reports detailing their strengths and areas of opportunity. All areas of the exam are covered thoroughly. For shorter courses, contact us to discuss the best curriculum options.
